Health Club Assistant

• As a Health Club Assistant your role will be multi skilled in fitness and reception, involved in a combination of duties, from delivering gym programs and inductions, providing proactive gym floor cover advising and assisting members, being responsible for covering reception duties taking enquiries and bookings for the Health Club and Spa.
• You will help support the success of your team, feeling engaged and ready to deliver consistently exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
• Be capable of demonstrating that you can deliver outstanding training sessions, motivating others whist bringing positivity to people’s health and wellbeing goals.
• Mindfulness and well-being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind.
• You will assist in the orientation and implementation of ongoing programmes of promotional and motivational events aimed at sustaining high levels of member retention.
• You will manage the day to day operations of the pool and spa plant and heat experiences, ensuring everything is in good working order and addressing any operational risks.

About you:

• NVQ Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualifications is essential for this role, level 3 personal training qualifications is desirable.
• Ideally you will have qualifications in pool testing and/or pool plant, however this is desirable and full training will be provided.
• You will need to be confident in water as our Leisure Club Assistants also act as our pool responders and first aiders.
• You’ll enjoy motivating others and feel confident acting as an expert to give suitable advice on health and fitness that will match people’s individual goals and aspirations. 
• Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
• Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.

• A competitive hourly rate of £13.82.
• This role is being offered on a part time basis, 16 hour contract to cover weekends.
