Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner and Chairman, Julia Hands MBE. Whilst each hotel is individual, every property fulfils the company values of family and community, individuality, care, aiming higher and delighting our guest ensuring a hand picked experience for every guest and employee.
 
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to be based at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is an exciting new role created due to the ongoing transformation plans for Hand Picked Hotels and will be instrumental in driving sales to all areas of the hotel in line with the commercial strategy.
 
Fawsley Hall Hotel is located within Northamptonshire and offers our guest a luxurious stay, the hotel boasts 4 AA Red Stars and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. For rest and relaxation Fawsley Hall is host to one of the Midland’s best destination spas and state-of-the-art wellness and health club facilities. Its formal gardens and parkland were sculpted by the renowned architect Capability Brown in the 1760s. The hotel will embark on a transformation plan in 2025 in line with our future plans at Hand Picked Hotels.

About the Role

  • The role of Sales Manager will involve proactively driving sales activities to the hotel across all sectors to including hotel events, private dining, leisure experiences, corporate and conference from a local perspective.
  • Work with local destination houses and partners from a B2B and B2C perspective.
  • Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the hotel and Hand Picked Hotels sales and marketing plan.
  • Be a confident and effect networker who can build effective relationships externally and internally.
  • Making clear, confident decisions, will be second nature to you, consulting with others where needed ensuring you all reach the same goals.
  • Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

About you
  • To be considered for this role you will this role of Sales Manager you will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment.
  • It is essential you are highly driven, can act on your own initiative where appropriate and enjoy working within a proactive sales role and with set targets and objectives.
  • Can demonstrate a methodical approach and are highly organised and have a systematic approach to your work.
  • You will have excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
  • It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required.
