We are currently recruiting for a Treasury and Finance Assistant to join our finance team, this role is located on site at our central support office n Sevenoaks in Kent as we be part of the wider finance team.

About the Role

About the Role:
  • The Treasury and Finance Assistant will support the Credit Control and Treasury Manager to manage the banking for the group, including out-going and incoming payments, account reconciliations, cashflow monitoring and interest earning optimisation.
  • The role will also provide administrative support to the wider central finance department and be responsible for responding to payment queries from hotel staff, liaising with the groups payment service providers as and when require.
  • Carry out regular bank reconciliations for all group accounts, ensuring accurate posting and coding of transactions and the swift resolution of discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage bank balances, transferring funds as required to ensure all accounts hold sufficient reserves for daily activities while maximising interest earnings. Raise ad hoc payments as and when required, ensuring the correct approval processes are followed.
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly cashflows, working with the FP&A Team to improve forecasting of cash movements for the group
  • Assist other members of the central finance team with administrative duties.
  • Complete surveys and forms received from the Office for National Statistics, ensuring they are accurate and submitted within required timeframes.
About You:
  • Previous finance,, credit control and treasury experience, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel.
  • Must be pro-active, self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Able to communicate at all levels throughout the business.
  • An eye for detail is essential within the role.
  • Experience working within a hotel environment preferred, but not essential.
