We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Sales & Events Manager at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

What will the role involve?
As our Sales & Events Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of Sales and Events Executives, ensuring exceptional service standards and outstanding attention to detail throughout the guest journey.
You’ll play a key role in delivering memorable, bespoke events, supporting event bookings and contributing to the budgeting and forecasting process to drive commercial success.
Maintaining a positive and driven working environment will be essential, alongside championing team development through training and upselling initiatives. By building strong relationships and making confident, well-informed decisions, you’ll create a collaborative, high-performing team.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

- We are looking for a passionate and driven individual with a willing attitude and a welcoming and friendly nature. We work as a team to ensure our hotel operates smoothly and our guests are receiving a high-quality, personalised, and magical experience that they remember, recommend and return to time and time again.
- To be considered, you will have current Sales & Events Management experience within a 4 or 5 star luxury hotel environment.
- You will be commercially driven, motivated by targets, and thrive in a sales-focused role.
- Highly organised and methodical, you’ll take a structured, systematic approach to your work.
- With excellent leadership and communication skills, you’ll be confident in coaching and developing others to reach their full potential.
- Strong knowledge of Opera, diary management, and Meetings & Events sales is essential, along with solid event planning expertise.
- Above all, you’ll bring a professional, approachable manner, anticipating guests’ needs and creating truly memorable experiences.
