We are currently recruiting for a Guest Services Manager at Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
 
Nestled on the edge of beautiful St Aubin’s Bay in St Helier, Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa is a sophisticated 5 Star resort sitting at the island’s bustling heart. Boasting 123 bedrooms, many with ocean views, this Jersey hotel has gained an enviable reputation as the ultimate wedding venue thanks to its close proximity to the bay’s beautiful sweeping beach. For a unique culinary experience, Grand Jersey’s jewel in its crown is Tassili, an exceptional fine dining restaurant. Tassili boasts 4 AA Rosettes in honour of chef Nicolas Valmagna’s creative flair for combining local ingredients with classic French flavours.

About the Role

  • As Guest Service Manager, you will act as a primary point of contact for escalated guest concerns, ensuring all issues are handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. You will take ownership of complaints, driving prompt and effective resolutions while promoting a proactive and personalised approach to guest service.
  • You will support the day-to-day running of the Front Office, working closely with the wider team and stepping in for the Front Office Manager when required. A key part of the role involves overseeing the concierge team, ensuring consistency in service delivery across all guest touchpoints and maintaining a seamless operational flow.
  • We are looking for a passionate and guest-focused Guest Service Manager to play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences across our Front Office operations. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
About you:
  • A strong understanding of Front Office operations is essential. You will be confident managing reservations, coordinating room allocations, handling special guest requests, and ensuring smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes. Familiarity with Opera Cloud is highly desirable and will support your ability to deliver operational excellence.
