We’re looking for an inspiring and commercially minded Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, one of Jersey’s most iconic luxury hotels and part of the award-winning Hand Picked Hotels collection.

As Executive Head Chef, you will lead every aspect of the hotel’s culinary operation, ensuring consistently exceptional food quality across all restaurants, bars, events and private dining experiences.
You’ll drive creativity and innovation by developing seasonal menus that showcase outstanding ingredients while reflecting the hotel’s luxury positioning. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll ensure the food offering continues to delight guests and enhance the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a talented brigade to achieve exceptional standards.
- Creating innovative seasonal menus that balance creativity, quality and commercial performance.
- Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Managing food costs, stock control and supplier relationships to maximise profitability without compromising quality.
- Supporting recruitment, coaching and succession planning to develop future culinary talent.
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences across the hotel.
This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis.
